Where do people go after they passed away? Do Paradise and Hell really exist? We always wonder these kind of question but there are no answer. “Along With the Gods: The Two World” is a Korean Movie which give me huge impact after I have watched it. Actually why I will watch this movie is because one of the actor Do Kyung-Soo,  who is also a member from EXO (my favourite KPOP group!!!) has played a character in this movies. However, after I came out from the cinema, I feel like really get a valuable lesson from the movie.

The movie is originate from Webtoon (web cartoon, comics published only on internet), there are four main characters in the movie. The story talks about the journey after passed away of the lead character Kim Ja-Hong (Cha Tae-Hyun), a firefighter, who died right after saving people from danger. After he died at the accident location, he met three grim reapers who is Gang-Lim (Ha Jung-Woo), Haewonmak (Ju Ji-Hoon), and Lee Deok-Choon (Kim Hyang-Gi). They are assigned with the task to escort Ja-Hong to his afterlife, where he will assign a public defender to represent him in 7 trials in 49 days to find out how he lived his life and where he ought to spend the rest of eternity.

The Most Memorable Part
The most memorable part in the movie is the part right after three grim reapers brought Ja-Hong to the Hell. The Hell in the movie present the concept of hell as people always believe that there are 18 levels in the hell, people who has done bad deeds when they are alive will be send to different level in hell to accept punishments. In the movie, Ja-Hong need to pass all trails in the hell, the three grim reapers need to help him to passed the trial by proving he is innocent. The entrance to hell was visualized as jungle which all the leaves are blades.

The audio and visual presentation of the movie is very lifelike and real, especially for the expression on the image of different seven level of hell, which include Hell of Murder, Hell of Laziness, Hell of Lies, Hell of Unrighteous, Hell of Betray, Hell of Violence, and the Hell of Family.

The makeup of different King of Hell is also very quality, lifelike and stunning.

How the producer or cinema promote this movie?
The producer or cinema promote the movie by advertising in cinemas and on televisions, and on different social media templates. However in my opinion I think the word of mouth from people who had viewed this movies is much more effective in promoting this movie. Rating and Reason of Recommendation
I would give this movie 9 marks out of 10. This is because I think that the purposes of making a film, is not just to entertain the public. The main purpose should about to convey right values to people. Why this movie is so successful is because the story make people think about their life, and to do introspection on themselves. Different hell has make deep impression on my mind. For example, the hell of laziness is punishing people who wasted their life and time doing nothing by chasing them on a big grinder, which shows that we should value the time and appreciate it; the hell of murder has wide definition on murder which has include those who do something and causing other people death such as cyber violence/ network bullying, and those who ignore to help the others when emergency happened. Every level of the hell of trials has it own values to transfer to people, convey the importance of moral and ethics. This is why I’ve said this movie has bring huge impact on me, as I will start thinking and considering before I made any decision afterwards. It is a kind of education on us. Strongly recommend on this movie.

When we are child our parents always ask, what do you want to be in the future?

Doctor, astronaut, scientist…… but I believe there are many people who has always dreamed of becoming an interior designer, just like me! It is not easy to become a interior designer in real life since you need to be good at drawing and imagination, and it is hard to catch up with these professional skills. What if your drawing skills is as weak as me??

However, my dream comes true when I played a game named Home Design!

This game is a room makeover game.  Most of the makeover games are just too simple as they are mainly targeted on children player, the graphic and design are more to simple and childish style. Why I’ve chose to play this game is because the furniture in the games look very real. The graphical present is more realistic, the design of the furniture are more stylish and exquisite.

The first best things about this game is their language services. This game is provided in different languages for all player around the world, player can change the language in the settings.

For those who are bad in drawing, no worries in this game. Blueprints are provided!! These blueprint is very details, although your design didn’t need to be exactly same with the blueprint since it’s only act as a additional directory for player. This point has increase my rating towards this game.

The steps to play are also very easy. Firstly there are two main non-player character (NPC) in this game who will direct you how to play the game. They are Troy who is in-charge in renovation and Julia who communicate with customer. These two characters play a role in creating a more imaginative space for the players as if this two characters are their friends and cooperator to help them in designing the room.

There are different missions which require player to design for different themes of room. Kitchen, living room, bathroom…… received different mission from different customer NPC.

The second step is to start renovate the space. Every bubble will tell us what to change, and every furniture and fixtures cost. In order to change the furniture and fixtures, we need to play a small game to earn money.

The game is similar with Candy Crush, which is about to clear or collect different elements to earn money and tickets in the game. Tickets can be use in limited time challenges.

Sometimes things may goes wrong. Failure will cost you energy and the energy will gain back in some time.

The level of the small game increased, the harder to pass each level.

By playing the small game to earn money, player can change all the element in the room. Changing the room’s design, complete the mission and unlock next room mission.

There are something you can purchase in this game. When you only need few more moves to win the small game, you can buy and use the pink diamonds. 90 diamonds can exchange 5 more moves for the small game. This may help you in boosting the house renovation progress. You can also purchase energy when you wanted to play the small game earning money in short time. Special tools which can be use in small game to help achieving every level goals also are sold in the shop.

As the technologies has developed, people are able to fulfill their dream by just playing games. In my opinion, I think games is a channel, for both player and the developer of the game. Developer can express their imagination to the players, showing people what is their kind of ideal world in games. There are no any limitation in the virtual world of games. The players nowadays do not play games to just filling up their leisure time, but also to stress out their pressure gained from today’s hectic life. Playing games is a good way to release stress and tension of the day. However, we need to remember that the time uses in playing game must be appropriate and controlled, do not ignore the other things because of games, be careful about games addiction. Every player must be able to recognize the differences between real life and games.

Hi, Do you know about nasi lemak?

“Nasi lemak? No doubt if you’re truly a Malaysian,” says Instagrammer Fayxuen_leong.

Nasi Lemak is a representative traditional food of Malaysia. It is a popular Malay dish which the rice was cooked with coconut milks and Pandan leaves. Some of us might even add ginger or onion slices in to upgrade the fragrance of the rice in the cooking process. The classic Nasi Lemak is serve with Sambal (hot and spicy sauce), and various garnishes including peanuts, cucumber, fried anchovies and fried or boiled egg.

Nasi Lemak can be easily found every where in Malaysia as it is a common all day meal for everyone. As a Malaysian and a foodie, I LOVE Nasi Lemak. Today I would like to recommend my favorite Nasi Lemak restaurant —— Poppo Kanteen to you.

Poppo Kanteen is a nasi lemak restaurant which established in 2003. They have open branches in Puchong, Sri Petalling, Pandan Indah and Cheras.

In fact, I was actually attracted by the building’s color during my first visit. Tiffany Blue became a trendy color from few years ago until today. I think most female consumer will definitely attracted by their design concept.

The Environment

The environment inside the Poppo Kanteen is clean and comfortable. The design concept is using same color as the building on the chair. They decorate the wall with zinc metal sheet and separate the restaurant into two with wooden fence. The lighting is also just right, not too bright or too dark. Dining in Poppo Kanteen makes me just feels like I’m dining in a canteen.

I think the seat plan of Poppo Kanteen is also very considerate. They have prepared different seats and tables for customers come with only 2 persons, or else a group of them. They often change their decoration according to different festival. The mid-autumn festival is coming soon, that’s why they decorate the shop with lanterns.

Actually Poppo Kanteen is suitable for all kind of customer especially those families with children since the television is literally playing many interesting cartoon and movies all day. I feels that they are concerning about how the children feels when they are dining in Poppo since most parents will ignore their children when dining, which always cause children running and playing around the family restaurant, disturbing other customer.

The Menu

‘Nasi so Lemak!’

Same as the slogan, the main course of Poppo Kanteen is their Nasi Lemak. The special of Poppo are about the variety of side dish they provided to the customer. There are many choice for you such as chicken, fish, sotong, or lamb which cooked in different ways. Fried, Kicap (black soy sauce), Sambal (hot and spicy sauce), Rendang (sauce cooked with lemongrass and spices), there must be one you want to try!

Except Nasi Lemak, Poppo Kanteen also provided various types of foods and beverages. Western food, local cuisine, toast, dessert and special handcraft beverages.  You can find anything you want in Poppo Kanteen!

I’ve visit Poppo Kanteen for many times but my pick will still be the nasi lemak classic which serve with basic nasi lemak side dishes. The attracting points of Poppo’s Nasi Lemak is all about their Sambal (the hot and spicy sauce) and the Kacang (flavored peanuts and anchovies). The Sambal is not just about spicy, it’s a little bit sweet, which makes it suitable for kids and those who cannot eat spicy. The peanuts and anchovies is also a highlight of Poppo’s nasi lemak as it’s seasoned with their secret powder. It’s so tasty and crispy.

 

The other dishes I would like to introduce to you is the Nasi Briyani of Poppo. Nasi Briyani is an Indian mixed rice dish which the rice is cooked with spices and served with different side dish such as Rendang Chicken or Mutton. Achar (spicy pickled vegetables) and Keropok (deep fried crackers) was also served together. Poppo have added raisin into their Briyani rice.

The beverage I’ve order is Honey Lime in Jumbo size. Poppo provided their drinks in two sizes which is regular size and jumbo size. Jumbo size is very convenient as it is suitable for two person to share while you only need to add RM1 to upgrade your drinks, rather than paying the price for two drinks. I’ve also order a fresh coconut.

 

Poppo also provides many variety of toast and bread. There’s one special they served which is garlic bread with Kaya (coconut jam). The bread is full with garlic fragrance and match with Kaya, the taste of salty and sweet are just too perfect.

Must Try Level: ★★★☆☆

The Poppo Kanteen is a good place for everyone whether with families, or a group of friends to dine in. The price is also in acceptable level. Some might think nasi lemak is not worthy for such price but the portion of the nasi lemak is big.  RM6.50 for Nasi Lemak Classic, to get a tasty, quality nasi lemak with side dishes and Sambal that will only satisfied you and fixed your Nasi Lemak’s craving. So what are you waiting for?
